A 'straight flush' is an especially strong hand in poker and one that isn't often beaten. It is the second best hand that can be made, only toppled by a Royal Flush. It is made by hitting five cards in sequence that are all of the same suit. For instance 4s 5s 6s 7s 8s, is a straight flush. Aces count as high and low so the lowest possible straight flush is A-2-3-4-5, all of the same suit. This hand can be made from any run of five, except ten through ace, which would be a Royal.
It is possible for two players to have a straight flush in the same hand. If that occurred, the player with the highest single card, would win. So 4-5-6-7-8 would be beaten by 9-10-J-Q-K.
