Drawing Dead in a Hand of Poker

'Drawing dead' is the term that's used when a player has a 0% chance of winning the hand if both players went to showdown. Of course, this doesn't always mean that the player with 0% chance would lose the hand. As we all know, you don't need the best hand to win in poker. If the player who is drawing dead pushes all in and all other players fold, he would still win the hand. In essence, this term means there are no cards that could be dealt that could make the player a winning hand.

Quite possibly one of the worst situations to be in when in any hand of poker. The dealer would then continue to deal the rest of the board, a players fate already sealed. The only real way to win the hand when there are no cards that can help you improve is to get all other players to fold.
